i live in the detroit area, and it is so depressing to see my freinds parents and my family members get laid off from their jobs over the past few years. i’ve grown up in detroit and it is so difficult to see the city get even worse then it already is.
I ain’t american i’m canadian. However, I’ve always had a great deal of respect for the american auto worker…this video really you sit and think. John rich thank you for this! And may I just say God bless America God Bless Canada and one day things will turn around

Obama isn’t going to do anything for the American economy except to try and destroy it. Like all of his leftist ilk, he thinks America should bow to the world.

@ J0hnGaltJr, you’re made in Canada Impala, was probably made at Oshawa, On, our equivalent of Detroit, and “who knows where” is probably somewhere in the USA, and guess what, our auto sector suffered too, so don’t go complaining that your Impala wasn’t made in the US, we have tons of cars made in the states, like ours from Lancing, MI, and ever heard of the Auto Pact? it means the 2 automotive sectors of Canada and the USA are joined
And yes, Mickey Rourke is a Bad Ass, wish I could say he was a friend. I don’t respect him as an actor, but knowing his real life story, he is a good guy.

Shut Chevy down, shut Dodge down, shut the EPA down, lock the unions out, and get back to building American heavy metal. I have bought 25 new pickups in the last 5 years, Ford, Dodge and Chevy, none of them are worth a damn!The Mustang, the Camaro, and the Challenger show Americans want the real cars. Screw DC, and screw the policy makers.
And it was built in Greensburg, Indiana, and every part was made in America, except for the transmission (Japan). It has much more American labor involved than my Impala that came was built in Canada using parts from who knows where…
…and it not a ‘piece of shit’ car… it is an excellent car of excellent quality and gets tremendous gas mileage.

when UAW loosens it’s grip, i will start to. but untill they do that, I am going to buy BMW’s. the Union members are getting too much for thier jobs. so in order to cut costs, car compainies have to cut quality in order to pay the workers…
